Lyrics
A Beach Of Bloody Sand / Album War Is Not The Answer / October 01 2014
Lyrics by Daniel Blaine Young
When we´re not sure, of the battle ahead.
With propaganda, and lies that are spread.
The reasons for war, may get out of hand.
Preparing to land, on a beach of bloody sand.
V2
Hard to show emotions, having lost many friends.
Going through the motions, of battle once again.
The pain that is felt, is suppressed by fear.
A day on a beach, of bloody sand draws near.
(chorus)
Holding ever so close until the end.
A last quiver in the hand of a friend.
They fought and died. They made their stand.
On a beach, a beach of bloody sand.
Bridge
Collecting dog tags, once the fire fight ends.
Filling body bags, and shipping home friends.
Only time will tell, if we are winning the war.
On a beach of bloody sand, never fought over before.
(chorus)
Holding ever so close until the end.
A last quiver in the hand of a friend.
They fought and died. They made their stand.
On a beach, a beach of bloody sand.
